Victoria Falls Bridge, Victoria Falls

Bridge · Tourist Spot
Walk from Zimbabwe to Zambia or the other way around via Victoria Falls Bridge, spanning the Zambezi River canyon on the border of the two countries and offering a spectacular view of the Victoria Falls. The brainchild of Cecil Rhodes, famous magnate and politician, the 198 m (650 ft) long steel bridge remains the only road link between the two countries. You can take a guided tour focused on the history of the structure--for something a bit different, consider bungee jumping from the bridge. • Looking down the river from the bridge is little scary when the wind oscillates from here. Braver ones can enjoy the bungee jump as this is good touristic activity. Spectacular scenery from both sides of the bridge.
  • Africa's oldest bridge. The architecture is just amazing. Please come and see this wonder. It bridges Zambia and Zim at a gorge that is about 100 meters deep and more than 100 meters wide
  • Perfect for adrenaline seekers. I will always remember that bungee jump. Damn!!!!
  • There is an outdoor bar where you can sit and have a great view of the bunjee jumpers and zip line. Be careful if you have snacks the baboons might try to steal them but are otherwise harmless and very cute.
  • Although water levels were lower, visiting in November, , enjoyed seeing the the individual waterfalls
