Observe a project engaged to prevent the eradication of one of the most threatened African animals at Painted Dog Conservation. Founded in 1992 by Dr. Greg Rasmussen, the foundation serves to preserve the endangered African wild dogs and their habitat. The painted dog numbers at about 3,000, of which 700 are found in Zimbabwe--nearly double the amount before the project began.
