Ngọn hải đăng Vũng Tàu, Vung Tau
(4.2/5 based on 60+ reviews on the web)
Marvel the sights from the architecturally and historically valued Ngọn hải đăng Vũng Tàu. Built in 1907, and moved and rebuilt in 1911, the lighthouse shines light to the ships and boats as far as 35 sea-miles (64.75km) away, as well as monitoring and guiding vessels at sea with telescopes and other nautical equipment. See the four old French cannons weighting several tons, once used to protect the area from naval attacks. Observe the panoramic view of the whole of Vung Tau. A spiral staircase leads to the balcony on the top, which serves as a sight-seeing point. • A gentle walk up from the beach. Plenty of cafes on the way if you need to stop on the way to appreciate from a sitting position with a cool drink in your hand.
  • The drive up is fun, and the view is amazing. There are plenty of spots for people to walk and sit to eat their snacks. THere is a neat coffee shop half way up, but watch the pic-pocketing. No vending...  more »

  • Beautiful view of Vung Tau city. We took lots of nice photos here.
  • It's a bit hard to find the way up. You will need to rent a motorcycle as the road is hard to tackle on foot. The view, however, is really worth it. You can have the panoramic view of Vung Tau Beach and the city.
  • Nice view from the Lighthouse. Be careful if you are driving car since the street is not very wide at the top
  • The location offer a very good view to observe Vung Tau city from high point.
