Lam Son Stadium, Vung Tau
(4/5 based on 70+ reviews on the web)
Watch greyhounds swish past at Lam Son Stadium, the only legal gambling dog racing venue in the country. Hounds dressed in racing silk cloth chase a fake hare along 450 m (1,476 ft) long tracks made in a converted football stadium in Vung Tau. They let spectators come right at the fence so you can get a good close up view of your favorite but you have to come early for a good position as it gets pretty crowded. The races are held on weekends and the establishment has some 800 dogs. Pet some puppies and get some ice cream. This is a family event here. Use our Vung Tau tourist route planner to visit Lam Son Stadium on your trip to Vung Tau, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.

  • Location up to quite as exciting, took place Saturday night in 6.7, from 7h15 to about 10 h. Admission 60 k, VIP areas, the 120 k. But sitting in the stands that often also quite OK, near the track, fun. When you will buy is 5 k price guide book, every evening they will release 1 different book, each dog athlete in each leg. There are 12 races, each leg about eight races, spaced 10-15 minutes to place a bet. It only takes 10-20 k/the/weekly and eating rata according to the amount of money that was put into the dog WINS. Quite interesting, I have to see one to two new racing chắng understand the rules of the bet. Who to Vung Tau on the weekends, you should come here to see, very fun.

  • funny place to go when you're not from the city. Races were cool to see, 15mn approx between each, people are crazy about and you can feel it when it starts. Be careful with your wins if you bid because some of the sellers weren't honest..
  • The dog races here on Friday and Saturday night are awesome and you can totally gamble. Even the Vietnamese can do it. They gave you a program and you can see all the information about the dogs that will be in the race. They have drinks and we always get a bottle of Jim Beam or whatever and get super hammered and order pizza. It really is awesome

  • food isnot delicious. very low service.
  • Feb.2012.We went here with family for the dog races. No money was bet, none was lost. Our presents was only for the atmosphere and watch the races. These dogs are owned by someone local and they are prized and I was told probably looked after better than family.
