Front Beach, Vung Tau

(3.5/5 based on 70+ reviews on the web)
Relax around coconut trees, and have a meal in an open-air restaurant at Front Beach. The beach shaped like a crescent moon, attracts people with open-air bars, and restaurants. Because of not being directly on the beach, it makes it possible to relax on sand surrounded by coconut trees, and watch the waves. The water might not always be crystal clear, by reason of nearby ferry port. On site, you can do yoga, and even go to the gym. • You can swim here though and it looks also some locals, but a real, beautiful beach (just 100m sand!) is not. We walked here from time to time on the promenade, at night you can see beautiful, how to extend the lights along the beach, but not too much should be expected. Please have me especially the lovely parks near the shore and the Nice Cafés and restaurants across the street, where you can comfortably drink and enjoy the views of the sea.

  • I spent 3 full days in Vung Tau, travelling around on a rented push bike.....a great way to see this coastal city. One place I passed was front beach. Not really a beach to laze on but plenty of cafes...  more »
  • Shred of sand in the Centre of the city, where there is no sun loungers, no waves, but there is an excellent entry in the sea! Fifth beautiful promenade with Palm trees and fountains. The most lively area, near oriented, cafes, Park. All city life there:)
