  • It is a park with sculptures made of concrete, far enough from the center of Vung Tau. We arrived by taxi. Entrance is free of charge, at the entrance to the park there are toilets. Meandering paths lead up (approximately level 8 floors in my opinion) to the statue of our Lady. At the foot of the statue were placed chairs, so you can sit quietly and catch my breath. Further down the track once again are very steeply, so you need to rasschchityvat' their forces.

  • A statue of the Virgin Mary is also on the mountain, like a statue of Jesus, but not climb so high. Top city views. At the foot of the statue stands a casket with aromatic sticks and lighters, and ignite. Very impressive place. Apparently, for the local Christians this as a church, to pray for the people there. For Mary even higher there is Golgotha, but we were already when it got dark and do not understand how to climb. And the second time already return not yet

  • Strawberry Beach statue located on the mountain is a combination Temple and statue of the Virgin Mary facing Strawberry. This architectural complex consisting of many religious buildings such as the 14 stations of the cross in this, the Holy Temple, stone Chapel, souvenir stalls. The statue of the Virgin Mary carrying Jesus was built in 1992, white, tall, weighing close to 500 tons. Pilgrims often follow Big peak ascent to panoramic Vung Tau.

  • After visit big Jesus statue, maybe u might interested to come here for Mary with baby Jesus statue. Besides, there is a huge cross on top of the hill.
  • there is a big cross on the top. It is tired to get to there but it's beautiful there.
  • The Mary and Baby Jesus Statue (Duc me Bai Dau means Mary of Bai Dau - Bai Dau is the name of this place) is located at Big Mountain along Tran Phu Str and is a peaceful and serene place for a visit. Do drop by the church (Church of Our Lady of Bai Dau Church aka Nha Tho Bai Dau) which is quite deserted during the weekdays. There are also the 14 Stations of the Cross built along the hillside which makes a very meaningful walk for Catholics. Right at the top of Big Mountain is a white cross which can be reached by following a small footpath (if you can call it a footpath at all!) up the slope. The view is great at the top. Be prepared to sweat it out though - it's not an easy climb and there are some rocky obstacles to overcome.
