Ta Phin Village, Sapa

(3.9/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
At Ta Phin Village, tucked away amid green mountains and rice fields, explore the wonders of the Red Dao and H'Mong native communities, untouched by civilization and mass tourism. The Chinese origins of the communities influenced their distinct cultures, dances, and the red turbans which they still wear. Stroll around the village and browse through handmade clothes and bags, decorated with bright colors and patterns. Rent a private room in a village house and immerse yourself in the culture. Don’t miss the chance to try a famous herbal bath, and if you’re lucky, you might witness a wedding ceremony or dancing festivals. The pristine valley and mountains offer plenty of options for trekking, too.
