  • The Sapa market is really huge. There are all kinds of things to the buy. At approximately 18:00, but the most "shops" were closed. At least they are on the first floor. Fruits and vegetables like everywhere in Vietnam out there on the road for sale. Also fish and meat. Here you could buy even dog...

  • I used to love the Sapa market the Hmong and Dzao people were there working , sewing and chatting and the other side of the market was the market where Chinese and local products were sold . The food ...  more »
  • Excellent market. The imposing main building are boxes of souvenirs, crafts, clothes and dehydrated products. After working a great popular and restaurant street food shed, butchers, fishmongers. On the outside are the stalls of fresh vegetables and fruits. All the black H-mong and traditions of the place. Worth to visit.

  • There are some street food here, right next to the entrance. Most of them are traditional Northern Vietnam food. Some souvenirs can be found here with nice price.
  • Clean, nice not too big. But don't like the bus park infront of the market.
  • Go to bac ha market on sundays, no comparation at all
  • If you want the authentic Hmong or Dao wares or clothing/items, you must go upstairs to the second floor North section of the floor is all authentic. All the crafts are handmade and can take years to make and will be a little more expensive but I assure you it is worth it. All the street vendors (Hmong/dao)are most likely authentic too. All the other stores are viet locals and they most likely will sell Chinese knockoffs.
  • Is nice for cheap gifts for folks back home, but less hand made items than imports from China! Still a fun places too haggle tho!
