Indigo Cat, Sapa

(5/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web)
See the work of the local crafts from Sapa area and North Vietnam at Indigo Cat. Choose from a vast selection of hand-made and quality-ensured products made in the village of Ta Van and displayed in the shop. This is the only Hmong Shop in all of Sapa. Aside from the local products of genuine handcrafts, different tea types, and cardamom, the store offers sewing classes. Pick anything without worrying about miscommunication--everything is clearly displayed with sources of the works stated and labeled. The owners speak English well. Put Indigo Cat and other Sapa attractions into our Sapa vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • I purchased a beautiful blanket made by a H'Moung crafts person, as well as a very lovely tote bag. They have a good variety of items, well-displayed in a homey atmosphere.  more »

  • As great as it was two years ago, when I stayed here for one week. I really recommend this hotel if you stay in Sa Pa. It's got the best views of Cat Cat village, and it's two blocks away from Sa Pa main square. The rates are low and a delicious breakfast is included in the rate. They can help you plan treks, tours around villages, home stays, find a tour guide, etc. The only thing that could improve is the wifi network - important if you're working remotely for a few days. Not important if you're here for disconnecting and relaxing, which is what you should REALLY do if you come to Sa Pa. .
