  • This market is held every Tuesday morning and all ethnic groups in the region come to do their market of all sorts of things food, clothing, and although often they are in traditional costumes, bit not tourist see during our visit in January

  • Yet you say a Vietnamese market? And this one you will not regret it and you will say the same, but where am I?. In what century? In the end the North Vietnamese campaign this traditional, colorful market will delight you and will give you a unique souvenir. (even though some products are intended for tourists (fortunately few in this secluded) you will be in deep cultivation of the Viet Nam among different ethnic groups.) Stroll quietly among the different stands, open-air bars, restaurants (it's a big word), hairdressers in the open and do not also miss the cattle market. Buy a few products (fruits, textiles, etc.) to "pay" for your free tour. They are adorable and does not refuse the photos. It feels good, so they completely ignore us

  • If you are Spanish not worth it, it is quite similar to a flea market in which Yes is true that you can find the peculiarities of this remote area, such as the marketing of animals, tobacco, spices, clothing, crafts. But it is a flea market as they exist in Spain, intended for those villages that live there. If it were closer to Lao Cai you could go and have a look, but is a two hour drive, so between the departure and the return you lose half a day that you could benefit from another place in Viet Nam
