Sao Beach, Phu Quoc Island
(1.9/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy a cocktail under a swaying coconut palm at Sao Beach. Located on the southeastern side of the island, the easily accessible beach boasts powdery white sands and clear turquoise waters. The beach has all the necessary facilities for leisure and fun, including bars, water sport operators, fishing boats, kayaks, powerboats, and food vendors. Due to weak currents and relatively shallow ocean bed, the coastline remains safe for children and non-swimmers. You can also go on a snorkeling adventure to observe starfish, sea urchins, and other marine life. Put Sao Beach and other Phu Quoc Island attractions into our Phu Quoc Island family vacation planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Totally disgusting. Living in Hong Kong has prepared me for gross beaches, and this was right up there as one of the worst. The amount of garbage in water was appalling. There were even rouge dogs sca...  more »
  • Of course, there just Super-Duper Beach, white small sand, but all the spoil piles of garbage, which makes the sea. A couple of resorts with the transcendental prices and tourist buses in the evening will not enjoy the peace and quiet.

  • Visit the tour of Phu Quoc island. Had lunch here, about 90 minutes. Sunny said on the same day burnt, so sunscreen required. It is a little secluded, so few people, good atmosphere. Personal and hard to go? Red ground 2 km away, from the main road enters becomes a Chartered taxi or rental bikes available, so be careful!
