Long Son Pagoda, Nha Trang
(3.8/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Admire a huge 24 m (79 ft) tall statue of White Gautama Buddha--the largest outdoor scultpure in Vietnam--at Long Son Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the country. Intricate dragon mosaics made of glass and ceramic tiles decorate the entrance to the temple, with the large statue of the reclining Buddha resting in the temple’s well-manicured garden. Climb 152 steps to the top of the mountain to enjoy the big Buddha arising from lush greenery from a distance, as well as gaining panoramic views over the city. • We visited Long Son Pagoda and the sleeping Buddha. We actually first saw the Buddha from our hotel roof top and decided to venture. The giant Buddha is great to see and a must if in Nha Trang.
  • Place on the fan, I am primarily as a Memorial. If the bottom is what the tourists, the movement at the top of the atmosphere meets the cemetery ... in general this is the cemetery. In addition to the commemorative boards in honor of monks who burned themselves alive there is columbarium.. Good pictures are obtained from Pho half way up to the top of the mountain. If someone collects the Rosary, I advise you to buy there at the bottom. At relatively low prices. Along the way we have tried to breed for money. One Vietnamese almost gave us out into the hands of sticks, and then wanted to charge us $100. What has received the appropriate response.

  • Amazing place for sunset, you can see the undeveloped are of the town from the hill. The restaurant beside this is a must go. It's delicious and cheap (15.000vnd) for Pho and almost all meals.
  • Big Buddahs in this pagoda and beautiful architecture, but don´t go there if its too hot, lots of steps :)
  • phong cảnh đẹp
  • This place has the biggest budha statue in Vietnam. You can see it everywhere in this city. Come and explore the culture & people. Open everyday morning until sunset.
  • Two beautiful statues. The temple doesn't look or feel like Buddhist. Is all full of trash, turists and "guards" smoking cigarettes. They are rebuilding or bringing down the place (no idea) and is all cristianized: they charge you for "blessing" you!! Buddhism is absent.
