  • We was on the bussiness trip of firm makers searching for the sights to do a movie. They are Indian directors who loved natural & off-beaten path landscapes, that was why we was heading to Ba Be lake f...  more »
  • During a trip of 15 days in the North of the Viet Nam, we stayed one night in the Park to the village of Cap no in an Inn run by the capita, what I recommend, even if comfort is sketchy. The tour of the Lake by boat, the river and the falls allows you to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation; of course, it's better if it's fine as was our case.

  • Ba Be national park with its three lakes Pelam, Pelu and Peleng, is located in the province of Bac Can, at between 230 km from Hanoi. The region is an enchantment of nature wild, rich in waterfalls, rivers and lakes, valleys breakthroughs of caves. Perched at 145 m above the sea level, Ba Be lakes cover an area of 500 hectares, which puts them among the largest lakes of the Viet Nam. The area has been classified as a natural park in 1978. This beautiful area is populated by the Tay minority, who live in houses on stilts. Besides the mineral element, the canopy is also rich, with a variety of trees including several rare species. More than 400 known species of plants have been recorded. The Government allocates subsidies to the villagers so that they don't kill the trees. Wildlife includes boars, bears, leopards, monkeys and birds. Their hunting is forbidden, and fishing is only permitted to the villagers. The attractions of the site include Dau Dang, Puong cave and the pond yours falls. The average temperature is 22oC. This region is surrounded by steep mountains peaking at 1 554 Mr. Ba Be, three bays, in Vietnamese, consists of three interconnecting lakes and stretching over 5 km. There were 50 species of freshwater fish. Two lakes are separated by a 100 m wide water Be Kam, itself enclosed by two walls of chalky rock. The Nang is navigable for 23 km between a point 4 km above Cho Ra and the Thac Dau Dang (Dau Dang falls), a series of impressive stunts stuck between rocky walls. You can visit Hang Puong cave Puong, that pierces the mountain over a length of 300 m, and the Dao Dang falls consist of a series of rapids.

  • Good fun. Quite ride. Insist on going to tthe fairy pool first and have some breakfast there though when on the boat tour. Price is about 800dg for a whole group for the whole day experience. Good luck.
  • It is extremely beautiful and authentic. Not a lot of tourist, and you can feel like the lake is all yours. You can take a motorboat with a local driver that takes you to the beautiful places in the lake. Around 500.000 vnd to a boat. The waterfall is not very big but it is very very beautiful. I didn't hike there cause didn't have the time, but it looks like a cool thing to do there.
  • Nice beautiful nationalpark. Must see in North Vietnam. You don't have to book a full tour. The boat tour was much cheaper in the park. Not easy to get there, but from the my dinh bus Slstation should drive a bus to the park. We took the bus back to hanoi. To the park we took the "Linh's Adventure", only the shuttle. Because We didn't know there is a bus directly to the park.
  • Spectacular views, tour around the lake and the cave is a must! Try to avoid visiting during the weekend as it is a popular place for locals and is much more quite during the week.
  • NOISY BOAT TO ENJOY THE SCENERY, IT IS BETTER WITK KAYAKING!
