Made of bronze, the nine urns are of varying sizes and weights and stand in front of the The Mieu Temple. Seventeen traditional Vietnamese patterns are shown on the urns, including stars, mountains, oceans, rivers and more, with the combined 153 patterns across the urns providing an encyclopedia of the country’s rich cultural heritage.   • At the south-west side inside the Citadel (entrance 150,000VND / 30,000VND for children) and there is no extra fee to see this. Simple, symbolic works of art representing the imperial dynasties.  more »
  • They are the most beautiful URNs in the world I've seen. They are the symbols of power of the Nguyen dynasty, the last dynasty of the Viet Nam.
