Built at a time where European influences met Asian architecture, Imperial Tomb of Dong Khanh is the smallest and most distinct tombs in Vietnam. Thirty-five years and four kings resulted in a mix of influences in the architecture with the tomb completed in 1917. Walking around, visit Ngung Hy Temple, a triplet complex displaying royal furniture and calligraphy. A variety of art including stained glass and French artworks can be seen within the tomb. Western style influenced the area surrounding the tomb, with the grounds comprising of 200 buildings, oriented towards the southeast and decorated with terracotta statues of soldiers and animals covered in cement.   • We took a cab and visited the 3 most popular tombs, we liked the sorrundings and the buildings. It gives a glimpse on the past. 
  • three major tombs to visit. We rented a taxi and did it that way. Beautiful from the moment you arrive.. 
  • 2016 / 10 / 19 visited on the tour. Large temples? Dinh? The moat of the Lotus. It was too bad. Cannot understand the spatio-temporal flow, are confused.
