  • Seawalking was a very good experience. I also enjoyed snorkeling during my free time. The meal doesn't seem right for me. I tried to purchase the video taken during the Sea Working, but I could...  more »
  • We booked a snorkeling tour in July of 2019 with Sea Trek Vietnam  for three people after reading mostly  good reviews. After booking the tour we received an email trying to sell us the under water walking tour. We declined after looking into it and  stated we were only interested in snorkeling. The morning started off good with the driver showing up on time. When we arrived at the harbour we waited around 30 minutes for others to show up and were told there will only be 15 people on the tour. They put 18 of us on a nice speed boat and raced us to a larger wooden boat at Cham Island where we joined approximately another 25 people. As soon as we arrived we were told  to go ahead and snorkel for 90 minutes  while they instructed everyone on the under  water walking tour. We were the only three not part of the walking tour. We asked where the best coral is and one of the tour guides named Jim answered "under water" This was basically the extent of the tour. We swam  up to 300 meters distance from the boat. Most of the coral in the area is either dead or dying with very little fish in the area in very murky water littered with beer cans. I later talked to others who were part of the  walking tour and they were not impressed with what they saw and having only about 10 mins of under water walking time.  After 90 mins of snorkeling we were  taken for a decent lunch at another beach which was overcrowded with boats that came up to the the beach at full speed. After lunch we lounged around the beach for over 2 hours with an option for swimming. Due to the reckless way the boat operators approached the beach you had to watch your back. During this time all guides in the area got together and played cards amongst themselves. We were never offered towels as the tour indicates and the only bottle of water was one which had been sitting in the sun. I have been on snorkeling tours in various different countries throughout the world and this one was the most disappointing tour I have ever been on.         They should not be selling it as a snorkeling tour. How they have so many positive reviews is beyond my comprehension
  • My wife, son, and I took the Sea Trek Sea Walk excursion yesterday. It was a really fun activity mixed with enjoyable periods of relaxation in the beautiful Cham Islands. We began with the speedboat transfer from the wharf in Hoi An to their large boat stationed in the waters off Cham Island. Our guide - Jim - was wonderful. He made sure everything went smoothly for us. The underwater walking was a fun experience and easy to do. Their divers accompany you and handle filming your experience. Afterwards we hung out sunning on the upper deck and snorkeling. The speedboat returned and took us to a lovely beach where we had a really nice lunch. We had about an hour or so to hang out on the beach before the speedboat took us back to Hoi An. The Sea Trek people are extremely nice and professional. They were very attentive and worked hard to ensure we had a great experience.
  • Jim is such a wonderful and nice tour guide and his English is exceptionally good. I fully enjoyed the snorkeling, swimming, and lunch in beautiful Cam island. I think he should get a promotion! Thanks to all his crew I had a lovely time in the sea
  • Very interesting experiences, this island has lots of fish, coral. This team has good equipments can help you feel really comfortable while walking in the sea. Really worth the price, a must try service when heading to Da Nang or Hoi An
  • Picked up from the hotel. The underwater walk was awesome. The guide on the boat was super friendly. Lunch was huge and delicious. The island is beautiful and there is plentiful relax and swim time. Dropped back to the front of the hotel. Amazing day. Totally worth it.
