  • This was a beautiful building and small gardens with sculptures. You could come and just sit by the water features for a while and it would be a lovely part of your day! This was well worth using one ...  more »

  • Nice Place. Good for a short visit. Very traditional atmosphere.
  • Must-visit. Whatever you do in Hoi An, don't miss this place. A photographer's delight, this place stuns you with a miniature representation of everything you associate with the orient - dragons and courtyards and the colours of the east. If you're lucky you'll get a cloudy day and the diffused light will help you snap something worthy of your own living room.
  • When visiting, a guy approached us and started small talk, then handed us out a paper, explaining he was part of a red cross student association looking for some funding. He was surprised and quite upset when we left him standing in the middle of the room. Don't fall for this type of scam. When I talked to the person in charge of checking tickets at the entrance, she just nodded and mentioned that there are loads if people hustling. No way to go after one. Not worth the effort.
  • Nice Buddhist temple just out side the Japanese bridge , there is common entry ticket for four five attraction costing 120 VND. But nothing great to see.
  • really beautiful temple, would highly recommend!

Where to stay in Hoi An

While Hoi An offers a good selection of sleeping options in all price categories, only a few of them lie in the old town, probably the city's most popular tourist area. To stay near this historic neighborhood, look for hotels in the surrounding streets, especially Ba Trieu and Hai Ba Trung. If you can, look for rooms in the evening, when many budget hotels try to fill up by offering deep discounts. For the best choices and bargains, reserve as early as possible.
