Hoi An Night Market, Hoi An

(1,100+ reviews on the web)
Flea Market Shopping
On the busy banks of the Thu Bon River lies Hoi An Night Market, a bevy of stalls packed with fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, traditional fragrant herbs and spices, and Vietnamese silk of various colors. Examine the authentic Vietnamese port life, where traders gather amid bustling alleys to sell their exotic goods. Besides food vendors, renowned tailors work part of the marketplace, creating clothing made of all sorts of materials at rock-bottom prices. A lot of salespeople tend to get pushy, in which case simply smile and continue your stroll through the market. Ready your bargaining skills to bring down the deliberately exaggerated prices. Put Hoi An Night Market and other Hoi An attractions into our Hoi An vacation trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Gorgeous. Go before sunset and watch the market transition from a day market to a night market. With a golden red sky, all the lanterns turn on and the river is filled with good-wish candles. Very touristy and therefore many salespeople.
  • Good price. Many things. Kind people... and I can feel Vietnamese life.
  • Very crowded, no motorbikes or cars tho. But a very nice marked with everything you would ever need. We ran into a group of young breakdancers who gave an amazing show for the crowd. A must visit if you're in hoi an.
  • Average compares to some of the other markets in vietnam. Lots of the same stuff and small. Nice area though and there are no scooters to dodge.
  • High recomment to walk around, morning or afternoon or night is still great. It look ancient but a little elegant. Ofcoz, one of the must to do at here is take pictures At night, people in town light up millions of lantern around the town. And if you like it, you can buy some of them at many shop in Night market where near to the bridge. By the way, some restaurant in the old town have very nice food with a acceptable price. About the street food in here, I'm not recomment anything of them.
