4/5 based on 440+ reviews on the web
On the busy banks of the Thu Bon River lies Hoi An Night Market, a bevy of stalls packed with fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, traditional fragrant herbs and spices, and Vietnamese silk of various colors. Examine the authentic Vietnamese port life, where traders gather amid bustling alleys to sell their exotic goods. Besides food vendors, renowned tailors work part of the marketplace, creating clothing made of all sorts of materials at rock-bottom prices. A lot of salespeople tend to get pushy, in which case simply smile and continue your stroll through the market. Ready your bargaining skills to bring down the deliberately exaggerated prices. Put Hoi An Night Market and other Hoi An attractions into our Hoi An vacation trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • The night market was great. Very similar to other markets around SE Asia but nonetheless beautiful handmade products sold from stalls right next to the river. Shout out to stall 34, Mr. Thanh...great ...  read more »
  • Small strip of stalls out at night Mainly souvenirs and smaller items. Nothing really different from what we found during the day in the old town
  • It's quite nice... It's like the town comes to life after sunset. Lots of souvenirs, but prices are high. In most cases you should bargain the price. Don't give up, nothing is worth mora than 1 or 2 d...  read more »
  • Go for your meal here if you like to try local food with reasonable price (although it's over charging when you do not speak Vietnamese). Let say it's charged less comparimg with the street selling. Recommend Mrs.Thu, she is friendly and speak good English. Good food, service and sincere.
  • Try the local Mi Quang or Cao Lau. Mmmm... Delicious.
  • To really get into the local food you must try the street food and go to the local market as well. They always have great and cheap offers. I love everything I've tried there: white rose, wonton and cao lau.
  • Don't be intimidated by the decadent atmosphere of the food court at the Hoi An market. Some of the best Cao Lau in town are served here. I specially recommend the stall "Bà Bé". Mrs. Bé serves a delicious Cao Lau, for a very reasonable price.
  • Great market to walk through but remember to barter and don't be afraid, they respect a good barter session more than getting a good price it seems
