Hoi An Night Market, Hoi An

(4/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
On the busy banks of the Thu Bon River lies Hoi An Night Market, a bevy of stalls packed with fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, traditional fragrant herbs and spices, and Vietnamese silk of various colors. Examine the authentic Vietnamese port life, where traders gather amid bustling alleys to sell their exotic goods. Besides food vendors, renowned tailors work part of the marketplace, creating clothing made of all sorts of materials at rock-bottom prices. A lot of salespeople tend to get pushy, in which case simply smile and continue your stroll through the market. Ready your bargaining skills to bring down the deliberately exaggerated prices. Put Hoi An Night Market and other Hoi An attractions into our Hoi An vacation trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • This was the first stall I stopped at during my first night in Hoi An. The proprietors were so sweet and nice. There was no pressure to buy and they had a good selection of items.  more »

  • Highly recommend. One of the highlights of Hoi An. The only disappointing thing is the stallholders all seem to have very similar products. Street food is fine - we had no issues. Check out the lights/lanterns by the river while you're in the area. A great place to visit with young ones if you can get them to stay awake and not have a meltdown! Hoi an is beautiful by night.
  • The central tourist attraction at night. It's a good experience with a variety of vendors selling arts and crafts, surrounded by a good amount of street food vendors (the banh mi girls were the best).
  • Great tourist destination! Very romantic at night. Would not recommend the street food.
  • Lively and full of colored lights the atmosphere is great. We only wished they didn't peddle the floating paper lamps so much. It was hard to walk 10m without being asked 10 times to buy a lamp or ride a boat.
  • It's really cool. A good place to buy souvenirs too and there is some nice street food
