Hoi An Night Market, Hoi An
(4.1/5 based on 500+ reviews on the web)
On the busy banks of the Thu Bon River lies Hoi An Night Market, a bevy of stalls packed with fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, traditional fragrant herbs and spices, and Vietnamese silk of various colors. Examine the authentic Vietnamese port life, where traders gather amid bustling alleys to sell their exotic goods. Besides food vendors, renowned tailors work part of the marketplace, creating clothing made of all sorts of materials at rock-bottom prices. A lot of salespeople tend to get pushy, in which case simply smile and continue your stroll through the market. Ready your bargaining skills to bring down the deliberately exaggerated prices. Put Hoi An Night Market and other Hoi An attractions into our Hoi An vacation trip planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • The best stall we ever seen!!! Lots of cool things and very very friendly man on the stall who helps us out lots Amazing, good prices and free bracelet!! Thank you stall 34!!!!
  • We had a lot of fun with this lovely man at his stall that he ran together with his wife, we are also really pleased with the goods we bought, great products and value for money, keep up the good work...  more »
  • Not too pressuring, kind and relaxed man. Very fun to bargain with (so maybe worth a little more than the actual wares)

  • Skip the tours of the houses. This is the must see place in HoiAn. Authentic food, great vibe. It's hard to praise this place enough. Come on empty stomach, so you can try everything.
  • Just as The Night Market, 2-3x overpriced. It has a positive and nostalgic vibe to it due to the friendliness of local aunties ready to sell or cook for you whatever is on their makeshift tables.
  • Go for your meal here if you like to try local food with reasonable price (although it's over charging when you do not speak Vietnamese). Let say it's charged less comparimg with the street selling. Recommend Mrs.Thu, she is friendly and speak good English. Good food, service and sincere.
  • Thank-you Hoi an market. What a pleasure at 5am then sunrise on the road bridge.
  • Go here for lunch! Cao lau: 20,000 VND! Don't be shy, the food booths often have English signs!
