Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An

(2.4/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
Relax on the white sands surrounded by coconut palms at Cua Dai Beach. Besides lounging by the water or going for a swim in the ocean, you can also visit many surrounding seafood eateries and restaurants serving tasty local cuisine. Many beach traders cannot wait to sell you their products and souvenirs, so either sharpen your bargaining skills or politely make it clear that you do not want to buy their wares. Locals strongly disprove of topless sunbathing and nudity, which they penalize with a fine. Arrange your visit to Cua Dai Beach and discover more family-friendly attractions in Hoi An using our Hoi An holiday planner.

  • We were staying inland at Hoi An and wanted to find the nearest beach. We found it after walking 50mins and I'm afraid we won't be back. I'd read about the erosion but was hoping it wouldn't be as bad...  more »
  • ... to realize the damage that global warming may bring. I have known this wonderful beach, with at least 30 metres before reaching the sea. It's over today: the water is level with the coconut trees, vaguely protected per of miserable sandbags. The rising waters and a few typhoons are the cause of all this.

  • For my part, a relaxing walk with plenty of space. The weather probably scared away tourists, fog. Despite this, I can enjoy the waves rolling in and the calm beach life gives me.
