  • Museum about the Vietnam war. Military vehicles and aircraft outside as well as a replica of a prison. Inside a lot of pictures over 4 floors and some weapons and other artifacts. It's very hard to see what was done to all that civilians and the horror that was caused by Agent Orange in the aftermath (remember the name Monsanto; you will hear it again). There are some very disturbing pictures here. It's clear we didn't get the whole picture at school and American war movies and shows tell a one-sided story. I missed some kind of coherency in the museum; there's no introduction into the Vietnam war; how it started and who was involved. It also doesn't show way the Vietcong did to civilians. Strangely enough no air-condition in the museum.
  • A great museum that gives more history of Vietnam other than the Vietnam (American) war. It's surprisingly big and filled with ancient artifacts. I spent several hours wonder around.
  • First, the ticket for the Vietnamese is very cheap: 2000 dong. Second, we can know a history not only in Viet Nam but also in another country like Campodian. That place is really big, i spend 1 hour to finish the trip. I will go there one more in my free time to remember the Vietnamese history and to meet the foreigners to introduce about my country
  • An interesting look at Vietnamese history. Three is a section on Hindu culture and I am amazed at how far Hindu culture had spread. It collection is not fantastic but it is worth an hour or so if you have the time and this activity could be done in mid day so as to avoid the heat. There is also a Garden and Zoo next door so it would be a plus point if you have kids.
  • Small and unpretentious. A nice quick little view into Vietnam's history up to the 19th century. Not impressive, not imposing, but pleasant and relaxed. I especially liked the dioramas about various battles against foreign aggressors :-).
