  • Poignant monument depicting a tragic episode in Vietnam's history. Original monument is on opposite side of the road which I noticed the local used more to pray.
  • The monument across the Street makes more impression, because this is such a typical Communist monstrosity. Across the Street stands the monument that people have set up away for Thich Quang Duc which occurred in 1963 in protest of the Government fired on this crossing.
