Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city at Tao Dan Park, an urban green space with over 1,000 trees. This 10 hectare (25 acre) park has plenty of places to stroll, exercise, and practice (or watch others practicing) tai chi. Spend a relaxing day in the shade of trees, bring your children to the park's playground, or go on a brisk walk. Here you will also see original statues and replicas of Nha Trang's Cham Tower and the Hung King Temple. • Whilst I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Ho Chi Minh City for the park, if you happen to be around the palace, it certainly is a pleasant way to spend an hour or two. When we visited, we simply sat...  read more »

  • In the morning bird owners take their birds here to "learn songs" from other birds. Absolutely amazing! Have never seen anything like it in my travels. A MUST SEE!
  • This pretty picture is not true anymore. There's a pile of metal frames and other temp construction material lying around the lotus pond now. Dec 2015. The rest of the park is still lush and green and offers a great place to take a break while exploring the city. The park also has an elaborate play area for kids with really engaging equipment in various sizes and configuration so if you are travelling with a kid in a pram then this place is a super spot to let kids run loose and rest you legs on the benches in the play area. That's exactly what we did.
  • As for February 2016 is under some construction, but still very nice and quiet place. Good for short rest after loud streets around.
  • I come here every morning to exercise, green space, fresh air, there are poor people selling lottery tickets, sometimes I still support them
  • Cool park with a lot of trees, with food, drink and fresh air in the center of HCMC. It's quite big!
  • My wife and I have been coming to this park each time we come back to Saigon. We were here for Tete 2015 and went to Tao Dan Park to see this fair. A display of bonsai trees and carvings.
