Saigon Square 1, Ho Chi Minh City

(130 reviews on the web)
Shopping Mall Shopping
Saigon Square 1 remains the city's top shopping destination, offering fashion, accessories, and jewelry. Beware of fakes, and remember that what seems too good to be true, probably is. The venue is usually packed with tourists and local shoppers, but it's also air-conditioned and covered, so it's much more pleasant than some of the open-air markets in the area. Use our Ho Chi Minh City vacation planner to visit Saigon Square 1 on your trip to Ho Chi Minh City, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.

  • Mostly clothing on sale here. The quality of products vary from stall to stall. Head upstairs, towards the back to find some better deals. Generally found better prices available at Ben Thanh night market.
  • Not like the traditional night markets at all. Mostly clothes (local style and fake brands). Lots of stalls but very squishy aisles. Was air conditioned, prices are mostly set.
  • Mostly a tourist trap where everyone is selling almost identical items. Seemed to be a lot of clothing and bags with decent pricing. Less people bother you than at Ben Thanh market so that's a plus.
  • Great place to start with flea markets. Great variety and choice. Vendors not too pushy.
  • Usual Asian market mostly clothing and fake designer stuff especially bags, backpack and winter clothes like North Face and blah blah... but much better prices compare to the tourist trap Ben Thanh Market. Lots of locals.
