Russian Market, Ho Chi Minh City

2.7
You'll find more than just clothing suited to a harsh Russian winter at Russian Market, a popular stop for expats and tourists from Eurasia. Located inside an air-conditioned building, the market offers branded winter gear, shoes, luggage, and sportswear, usually sold at lower prices than at typical outlets. Expect big piles of clothing stacked on top of each other, and prepare to spend some time rummaging for the right size and style. • You can find good clothes with reasonable price here. Since the products here are originally meant to be exported to European countries, you can find a good collection of winter clothes. Definitely need to bargain before paying but I don’t think it is too much overpriced compared to the quality. Start with 20% off the price.
  • Bring your A game for this market. They are happy to let you walk away without buying anything. For Example 10 pairs of no name socks for 500,000. Dong. I can easily find better prices on anything here back in Canada.
  • Must be a seasonal market, went there yesterday and it's full of winter clothes. But its very nice market to walk around because the merchants are not very pushy. Easy to walk through the aisles and browse for goods. We enjoyed it :)
  • 90% winter cloths, 10% misc cloths as per Ben thanh market. Very cramp and a fire hazard. Multiple shops cramped in two storey limited area. No place to eat, only cafe on 2nd floor is bad, don't expect anything.
  • It's near a bank, ATM, grocery market down stairs, pho restaurant, and other breakfast vendors. Cabs usually available, and a retail shopping center called the Russian market. It's a really convenient location if your visiting
