Russian Market, Ho Chi Minh City

2.6
You'll find more than just clothing suited to a harsh Russian winter at Russian Market, a popular stop for expats and tourists from Eurasia. Located inside an air-conditioned building, the market offers branded winter gear, shoes, luggage, and sportswear, usually sold at lower prices than at typical outlets. This market is mainly for winter clothing but also has all or most of the generic Nike adidas and under armour you see at the main markets in Saigon except without the hassle. You can’t talk them down...  more »

We went for our last-minute shopping in Viet Nam, since we are left with the desire to acquire any more than North Face jacket (since in Ho Chi Mhin found no where buy it), but we went with nothing. Prices double those of Hanoi and do not give cause for haggling. So if you want to buy warm clothes do it in the North or you'll be without it.

Outside the tourist circuit, many Westerners are not seen, they don't haggle practically. Good place to buy, offer there are above all outerwear, backpacks,... It is advisable to take a look and buy something. It is more serious than the ben thanh market stalls

Located beneath a tall apartment building. The market is a little inside about 50m from the main road. Two floors of mainly clothing, inclusive winter clothing, shoes, hats etc. There are at least 2 restaurants here, one with Russian food. There is also Little Russia which sells souvenirs and liquor. Very cramp indeed. Fully air-conditioned with escalator.

Better than Ben Than Market. AC, less people. Only selling cloth and shoes. Recommended if you looking for outdoor clothes and shoes

This place deserve a visit, good for winter jacket, but if are you traveling, is difficult buy one. good also for shoes and underarmour t-shirt and stuff

A ton of stuff in two over-packed floors. The building has A/C, which is nice. There isn't a lot of room to maneuver between individual stalls, though. Prices are pretty discounted, as it didn't seem to be a heavily touristed area.

A good place to shop for out door stuff. Hard bargaining recommend.
