A Japanese tourist friend told me this was great to see, but in fact he just loved the fish and likes to photograph them. The park is quite a taxi drive from District 1 and the entrance fee is about $...  more »

Nice Place for couples to take picture, for family to relax. Pros: Nice view. Well maintained. Reasonable price. Not too crowded Cons: Not much shadow for a large portion of the park. Not much activities beside wandering and taking pictures Location: Medium to hard to find. However, Google Map can be useful here Price: Reasonable price, especially for parking (5K Dong for bike, 10K Dong for car, even in Lunar New Year holidays) Popularity: The place is not quite crowded, even in Lunar New Year days Service: Foods and drinks are served within the park with 10-20% higher price than outside. Plus point is that you can bring outside food/drink in with no charge. Attendants are fairly friendly Cleanliness: This is superb, compared to other parks in Vietnam. Well maintained place Other thoughts: Not much shadows in the park, which I found somehow ironic (?). Remember to bring hats/umbrellas. The park is located in quite rural area, meaning families can have quiet relaxing time here. KOI fishes are considered bringing luck to visitors. Worth every Dong you spend here.

Went around 4 PM on a weekday and there weren't that many people there. Nice for viewing koi fish and the garden is well maintained. 50,000 VND admission normally wouldn't be an issue, but the actual garden area is quite tiny. Most of the park is a dining area with food stands, which were closed during our visit.

Beautiful place to visit. Very peaceful. Almost like they took a piece of Japan and put it in Vietnam
