Create an itinerary including Phap Viện Minh Dang Quang
Phap Viện Minh Dang Quang is one of the largest temples in Ho Chi Minh City, established by the Mendicant Buddhist Order, one of the biggest Buddhist sects in southern Vietnam. The central octagon-shaped temple topped with a lotus flower was designed in traditional Chinese architectural style. Most people come here to pray and visit the huge bronze statue of the Buddha inside the central pagoda, but the restaurant serving delicious vegetarian dishes carries the biggest appeal for the foreign travelers. • From the former wild land of the city with immense fields in front, Minh Dang Quang Court has been built to become a large and famous architectural complex in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Bright. Address: 505 Mai Chi Tho Street, Hanoi Highway, An Phu Ward, District 2, City. Ho Chi Minh City Opening hours: from 8am - 8pm Minh Dang Quang Institute is not just a temple, but it is also a place for training in Buddhism, hence the name of the court. Today, the temple is a spiritual tourist destination that attracts a large number of people, tourists from all over the world, as well as monks and nuns, Buddhists from all over the world to make pilgrimages and worship Buddha. The Court of Justice was founded in 1968 by Most Venerable Master Giac Nhien, the First Head of the IV Sangha of the Mendicant sect. Located on an area of up to 62,000m2, the court was built to create a long-term center of Dharma preaching and worthy of the development of the Vietnamese Sangha - Mendicant Church at that time. It is known that, in the early days, the court was just a small hall that was temporarily kept and a number of bamboo temples. Although the situation at that time was still very difficult, but the Most Venerable Monks, Venerables, and Venerable Monks in the congregation together leveled, cleaned, and cultivated so that the court had a new, more dignified appearance. In 1989, the Venerable Ducs in the congregation together launched the movement to plant trees to create landscape for the court. Therefore, right from the gate, visitors can enjoy the very fresh and green atmosphere. Until 2009 was the largest restoration of the court. Under the demonstration of Most Venerable Master Giac Nhien and other Venerables, Ton Ducs and leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Executive Board established the Ho Chi Minh City Buddhist Association. In Ho Chi Minh City, the groundbreaking ceremony for the great restoration of Minh Dang Quang Monastery was held on June 28, 2009. After the restoration process, the remaining area of the court is 37,490m2 in front of the Hanoi highway. On the right is East-West Avenue and behind the court is Luong Dinh Cua Street. Not only famous in our country, Minh Dang Quang Institute is also famous in the world, a place to exchange with international Buddhism in the period of globalization.
