Mariamman hindu temple, Ho Chi Minh City

Dedicated to the goddess of strength, Mariamman hindu temple is said to work wonders for Hindus who worship the goddess within its walls. The colorful 19th-century temple boasts numerous statues of Hindu deities, both in its exterior and interior. Admire the sacred images of Shiva, Brahma, Kali, Vishnu and other gods and goddesses crowding around the walls and rooftops. The scent of joss sticks, lilies, and jasmine--the most popular offerings--fills the air once you enter. In the center of the temple stands a statue of Mariamman, with two guardians by her side. Notice the two lingams--phallic-shaped representations of Shiva--in front of her. Ask Inspirock to suggest an itinerary and make planning a trip to Ho Chi Minh City fast, fun, and easy.
