  • It's no great enthusiasm but with a certain curiosity that I found myself visiting this Museum of Vietnamese traditional medicine. I did not know what to find and that's why the surprise has exceeded my expectation. The House as such is very beautiful, a wooden house on 5 floors, all carved, refined, is worth the glance. She is exceptional in this city. But the collection of objects found there also justified the visit: we think naturally of the jars containing the sculpted ginseng (unusual) or other decoctions of herbs, all the instruments in preparation of plants (grinders, grinding wheels, mortars etc...), to the beautiful teapots, jars or bowls of ceramics carefully stored in the windows, the sculptures of animals or characters. And then also the scenes of life at the top or low relief telling sessions with the doctor and daily life. A film presentation (in french) allows to get a first idea of the principles of this medicine, the tour, and in English, allows to deepen his knowledge while admiring objects. In short, the time went very quickly and we have not regretted to come, on the contrary
