  • It is located along the road from the airport, has 7 floors, is dedicated to Quam Am (Goddess of mercy) and was built between 1964 and 1971 with the help of a Japanese Association. The modern style and the enormous proportions make it an amazing Sanctuary: a colossal Buddha painted in shiny gold, red panels on the altars that bear images of other pagodas and temples famous worldwide, large bronze censer and various arhat make really a temple not to be missed.

  • This temple was gifted to the city by the Japanese authorities in 60 years of s. Very beautiful and richly decorated with hramju before entering Avalokiteshvara bodhisattva statue in the image of women. Inside the temple article Shakyamuni Buddha with two bodhisattvas. Behind the altar, altars of local teachers. Around the perimeter of the statues of arhats and disciples of the Buddha. Fans of Buddhism is required to attend.

  • It is a relatively new temple, founded in 1971, soliciting donations from Buddhists. This is a closer look firm in a concrete building. The 40, 000 square meters in the depth. To the left of the entrance tower a respectable 7.

  • Contemporary Buddhist pagoda. This is not in the center of the city but in a fairly busy bus route, so reaching the place is quite easy. The place was not too crowded in the evening when we visited.
  • Vinh Nghiem Temple is very historic. Heard Thich Nat Hanh came to pray here for dead people and it was really amazing. We came during Tet and chanted the Medicine Buddha Sutra. Very comfortable.
  • Nice pagoda near the town centre. This is the first pagoda in Vietnam to be built (1964 to 1971) in Vietnamese traditional style but with modern materials. There is a 7 story, 40 metre high tower. One of the highlights for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City. A visit is recommended.
  • The biggest pagoda in Saigon. It is considered as buddhism center there and many people have a visit each full moon, especially traditional Tet holiday
  • beware of the street sellers at the main entrance, the seller ladies will not stop bugging us until we bought 2 small candles for 200000VND! just when we thought that was it, a seemingly nice monk gestured for us to follow him to the inside of the temple and offered to take pictures for us with our phone. we thought he was being nice, but when we were about to leave, the monk actually try to ask money from us! we pretended not to notice and quickly put in some money into the donation box and walked away.
