Packed with Vietnam War memorabilia, Chợ Dân Sinh is a place many military buffs will find highly interesting. You can come across all kinds of collectables here, from combat boots, flak jackets, gas masks, camouflage clothing, and identification tags, to flashlights, binoculars, field stretchers, and tents. Although most of the vendors will try to persuade you their items are authentic, don't be surprised if some of them offer to make the war relic you desire. Fakes abound here, so feel free to haggle for a decent price. Put Chợ Dân Sinh into our Ho Chi Minh City holiday planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • While women get all over excited rummaging through Saigon Square, Dan Sinh Market is the place for men to feel amazing. Tools. From screwdrivers to hydraulic presses! Sprockets, valves, ropes and diodes. There are stalls that are specialised in screws of all kinds and colours. Kitchenware, from teapots to freaking planetary mixers. Vintage military gear, from originals to quality copies. Boots and ammo boxes. Even spare parts for industrial machinery can be found here and if they don't have it, they can point you in the right direction. I love this place!
  • This market is for hardwares, tools and army stuffs. I came here for the army stuffs, in recent years there are less shops here (maybe because of Sunday), and most shops are selling fakes or replicas. Not worthy for my money. Nevertheless, you can see historic army stuffs, too bad I can't take them home as they will be confiscated by customs. 😅
  • I can find different tools and machines for welding, woodworking, car repair etc. Also some old tools, and army surplus material, like clothes, ammo boxes, bunk beds.
  • Treasure trove of goodies, some fake but some genuine you just have to have a good rummage and don't forget to barter!!
  • Having less and less good stuffs each year. I rather buying online than go there.
