Bitexco Financial Tower - Saigon Skydeck, Ho Chi Minh City

Shaped like a lotus bud, Bitexco Financial Tower - Saigon Skydeck stands as the highest building in Vietnam that features the first observation deck in the city. American architect Carlos Zapata designed the 262 m (860 ft) tall skyscraper. By combining modern materials (steel and glass) with the distinctive shape resembling the national flower, he managed to harmonize the city's rapid economic development with its traditional roots. The observation deck with a bar on its 49th floor offers 360-degree views. The building also houses a shopping mall and a restaurant. • We went there in the evening, the view was great But it started to rain and it was impossible to make good pictures - the glass was wet. Also the light on the skydeck is very bright, and it was almost...  more »
  • A glance on Saigon from 49 ' plan, although the price is quite high: 200000 vnd or about €8. But it's not bad!

  • A must visit place in Saigon. It gives you the best possible view of the entire city. And I would recommend one to go during dusk and stay there for at least a couple of hours to see the crazy traffic from 172 meters up above from ground level.
  • Nice place and view from the 49th floor. 50th floor serves food. I preferred the night view more than the sunset or day view. Ticket is quite cheap
  • Gorgeous views. Thats all that needs to be said. Best place to go if you want to see the city from above
  • Worth visiting as you are able to see the whole of the city from about 49 stories up. 360 views are more stunning in the evenings but still as spectacular in the day.
  • Awesome city views, cool architecure and a symbol of Vietnam's financial present and future... pretty neat spot, a bit too expensive to enter for my tastes!
