Categories: Bodies of Water, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.4/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web
Sightsee and relax at West Lake, surrounded by interesting sites that include an 11th-century Taoist temple and Vietnam's oldest pagoda constructed in the 6th century. You can rent a boat to observe the cityscape from the water, or try out local dishes at one of the floating restaurants. The urban area represents a mixture of corporate and residential buildings, but despite the vibrant nightlife and thriving commerce, you can still spot traditional fishermen working along the lake's coastline. Keep in mind that this lake is not suited for swimming due to pollution. Use our Hanoi itinerary builder to arrange your visit to West Lake and other attractions in Hanoi.
