  • A tiny treasure trove of new and pre-loved books, set in a relaxed alcove. Something for everyone, and a cool break from the afternoon heat.

  • Lovely and cosy book store totally in english, a must for anyone living in vietnam!
  • The Bookworm is owned and actively managed by young Vietnamese national. Hoang Van Truong. Truong is an avid reader, has a wide knowledge of English language books, is a great traveler, tennis player, bike rider and is a fluent English speaker. His Australian foster parents assist as literary advisors and occasional shop assistants The Bookworm was established in August 2001 by author Pam Scott as a book exchange for expat readers of English language books. It was in Ngo Van So Street and is now a Red Apron wine shop.
  • Excellent service, they sell used foreign books with good price
  • Easily the best bookshop in Hanoi. It will especially loved by those who love the vibe of a good secondhand bookshop. To be clear, this is both new and second hand books, but it feels much more like a second hand one. He selection isn't anything like comprehensive, so you feel justified immediately buying anything you come across that you had been looking for. But even with a small selection, there are always a half dozen books I want to leave with. It is stocked by knowing eyes. You can just tell be browsing the shelves that the owners would be great dinner companions. There is real discernment present in what they choose to stock. This isn't just backpacker-trade-in detritus. They've got the goods and it is a pleasant place to be. The adjacent cafe (not operated by the book shop) is a plaseant feature and more reason to drop in.
