Standing in the middle of Sword Lake, Thap Rua Tower, or "Turtle Tower," commemorates the legend of Vietnamese warrior Le Loi. This tower was built on the Turtle Islet in 1886, but is based on an older structure, Ta Vong Temple, which was built in the 17th and 18th centuries. This attraction cannot be accessed, so you must simply admire it from afar. Go for a walk around the lake and take in views of this historic landmark, which is beautifully lit up at night.
