  • This was actually really fun & awesome to see, and then to see how many people it took to pull it all off! Amazing work to all the staff, would highly recommend this to everyone!!  more »
  • It was good to see this unique Vietnamese tradition and only lasts about 45 minutes which is just right. Spoilt by selfish people taking pictures and videos throughout hence blocking the views of...  more »

  • This was really a great experience. Firstly this is a water puppet show. So of course it’s a bit messy and you can tell that there are people o the other side of the wall controlling the puppets. It’s a puppet show!!! So having said that, the live instrumentals and singing is really freaking good and the “storyline” is good. Each act is its own quick short story. (zodiac) any seat is good. We sat two rows from the back and we saw everything fine. Get your tickets a couple days in advance as they sell out fast. Bring cash to pay. Wasn’t expensive.
  • Had a wonderful time watching a masterful show. I didn't know what to expect when I went in but was blown away by the skilled performance. Well worth the money. We sat in the middle tear and the view was great. It gets quite busy so best to buy your tickets beforehand.
  • If you are looking to find an indoor experience in Hanoi that is authentic, traditional, funny and moving this is the right place! The show play compromises of a large number of short plays from Vietnamese legends and folktales. The music is wonderful and the singing is great. The stories are told in Vietnamese, but it is definitely not necessary to speak it since the puppets tell the story quite clear. There are three kinds of tickets to buy based on the rank you'd want to sit (sitting in front is great whilst still being able to see everything). The prices range from 200k to 100k for a ticket. With the more expensive tickets you will get a small present as well.
  • Amazing must see old art. Although it it very touristic, this is genuine local art performed at high standards. We enjoyed every second. We felt like going back in time to a village story telling by the tribe elders.
  • The water puppet show is a must-see - it was really cool! The show is in Vietnamese but it is easy to follow along with the stories even if you don’t speak the language. I highly recommend seeing a show! There are a number of shows every day, but it is best to get your tickets in advance if you must go at a certain time.
