  • This is a really good local temple and is very peaceful, great to see and have a look around the area and spend some time in peaceful reflection  more »
  • The temple situated at six kilometres from the city centre, close to Tran Quoc Pagoda which is one of the most touristic places in Hanoi. The experience will be completely different as it is the place of worship more frequented by residents of Hanoi. Many people come, especially the first and the fifteenth of each lunar month, in the hope of receiving a little luck from Mother Goddess whose Temple is dedicated. The most spectacular thing to observe is the stretch of road before the entrance of the temple: fortune tellers, food stalls, restaurants and diverse humanity show that still runs the lives of a lot of Viet Nam.

  • The Tay Ho District or West Lake district is located north of the Old Quarter in Hanoi. It is a residential area where you can find some nice restaurants including the restaurant run by Bobby Chinn. At the Tay Ho District you can also find Hanoi Rock City, a great venue for independent live music.
  • This place is a wonderful place to relax at the weekend. People usually come here to wish for any best things to them and their familly. this place is near west lake, then you can stand near the lake, smell the flower and see the sunset on the lake. What a beautiful place.
  • This is one of the most frequent visited place of Hanoi citizens at the first day of the month (Lunar calendar) and New Year. They come to pray for happiness and luck for the future of themselves and their family. It has become the traditional activity for a lot of Hanoi families. The street lead to this place is very small therefore it often gets packed and traffic jam when people come over at the beginning of the month. Pick-pocket is pretty active in here so be aware!
  • Ok
  • great place for Budhists
