  • Not sure what was going on in this museum especially since the day we went, there were literally hundreds of school children there. The museum is strangely set out with no real story. I learned absolu...  more »
  • part of Ho Chi Min complex, no where near as popular as visiting "Uncle Ho". still an interesting side tour, but not my cup of tea.  more »
  • The collection is chaotic, and I don't see any story line or logic for it. Description is only available in Vietnamese, so it's difficult for foreigner to understand anything.  more »

  • This museum, dedicated to the life of Ho Chi Minh, is quite strange. While most of the museum tells the story of his life chronologically, some of the exhibits do not make sense- or at least when translated into English. It feels more propagandist than informative.
  • Visited the museum on a 9am Sunday. Saw the VERY long queue to the HCM mausoleum and decided to skip it. People are actually queuing in drizzling rain. Not much translation inside the museum. Mostly in Vietnamese. There are some pages of HCM's diary while he was in prison. Didn't know he can write in Chinese until I saw pages of his diary.
  • Extremely modern museum -particularly compared to the others in Vietnam. Not sure the public understood the messages the museum intended to transmit, but that adds to its surreal feel.
  • Disappointed with this museum. There was very limited English translation, so I couldn't understand much. Felt like a waste of 40,000 VND. When I asked the staff why there wasn't more translation they said because there's too much text...really? A museum that's dedicated to the Father of Vietnam in the country's capital got lazy??
  • get ready for a super crazy long queue, might juz because we visit on sunday, we started queue around 2hrs from outside the gate to mausoleum; ho chi minh's body was well preserved, quite stunning until u see it
