We were so lucky to spend the morning with our amazing guides Rose and Du. They showed us around the old quarter, were so knowledgable about the history of Hanoi and took us to try egg coffee which was actually great. Thank you Rose and Du!

Fantastic tour with locals. Really informative and interesting. There is no charge for the tour itself but you pay for any expenses during the tour. I'd happily pay a fee on top of the expenses. So so good.

We took an evening street food tour with Hanoikids and it was one of the absolute highlights of our 3 week trip through SE Asia. Using this organization is a fantastic way to see the city AND support local youth. Our Hanoikids travelmate, Viet, was TERRIFIC! He was engaging, charming, very interested in our experience and lifestyle, shared wonderful info about Vietnam and Hanoi and took us to many excellent places to sample local foods, explaining local customs and culture along the way. He came to meet us at our hotel and walked us back there at the end of the evening, and provided us with a list of additional places to visit the next day. We wish we had booked an additional daytime tour with HanoiKids too. We were absolutely delighted with the whole experience and would highly recommend using HanoiKids to see the city.
