Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
Take a walk around Hanoi Zoological Gardens and see the large variety of animal species kept in clean and well maintained areas, with attentive and caring keepers and the rest of the staff. As a part of a much larger park, it’s a favorite for many locals, as well as the visitors who want to take a break from the bustling city streets. The gardens are also a home to several thousands of trees, shrubs, and colorful flowers. There is a play area for the youngest, with karting tracks and other games, as well as a lovely, quaint bookstore on site. • Cheap entry fee... decent no of animals ie aligators, elephants, ostrich, monkeys etc But run down park and rides Was there to enjoy jogging by the lakeside area  more »
  • On a beautiful afternoon, a day off, we visited the zoo. That world, thrilled and happy children. Of course it is a small zoo with few resources (admission € 0.40 for an adult). Located around a wooded Lake, we walked 2 hours among the animals and attractions for children. Please: do not use the criteria of Western judgments. The joy of the children are pleased to see.

  • I came here thinking it was a botanical park. The animals are kept in small quarters and climatewise, some of the animals don't make sense to be here. For example, a polar bear. Why is there a polar b...  more »

  • Interesting zoo, lots of things for kids to do, albeit the rides do look a little sketchy but the kids seem to be having fun. Lots of animals, with adequate care it looks like, not wonderful, the typical story of a zoo. Also go for a nice walk around the lake. Lots of garbage on the ground throughout. Entry is 10,000vnd and I think after 5 is free.
  • This zoo is iiiiinteresting! I give it 4 stars because it's very cheap and my kids love it. Is should be around a 2 or 3 star for the actual animals! They are in small cages and some look unhealthy, but it is very fun to walk around a beautiful park. There are some slightly sketchy amusement rides and lots of little snack shops and toys to purchase. Overall a fun and inexpensive family friendly place to go, but not recommended if you are really passionate about animal rights!
  • Anyway, good place for kids in Hanoi. But dont come before 5pm, it is noisy because of commercial store. Come visit after 5 pm, free check in, and all store closed
  • it is amazing, monkey, tiger, lion.the lake ia big. you can find many animals and birds if you come. it is really a good place for lovers and family tour.
  • Wandered in here by mistake today. It's great if you like animal cruelty. Lots of the animals exhibit repetitive behaviour, pacing or shaking their heads in their tiny cages. The animals have long given up on using any of the equipment designed to keep them stimulated. They spend their days trying to ignore the screaming school children and jeering adults, and waiting for the sweet release of death. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of PETA and I really hate monkeys but the conditions here would break your heart. On the plus side, because of the complete disregard for the animals' well being, the entrance fee to this museum of barbarity is very cheap.
