It's a waste of goverment money to build this one and now it's nearly becoming a parking lot. The architecture is weird maybe i'm not good at admiring it but for me I just feel nothing and waste of ti...  more »

Only two of the four floors were open. Everything was in Vietnamese and as a foreigner I didn't understand a thing. In some parts, the lights were broken. It was like walking through an old garage wit...  more »

The only thing beautiful of this Museum: modern architectural design. Another plus: it's free. Good thing because it would have hurt me much pay for entering a site as well. That Yes, I had to pay for the taxi there, because the Museum is located away from the tourist centre of Hanoi. There is no order or logic in the exhibitions. The space is poorly exploited, is a huge building, with spacious rooms filled with showcases a pretty soulless atmosphere overlooking the Museum. The fact that there are very few visitors and that the lighting does not work in some places give you an even more sinister touch. There is no explanatory posters in another language that is not Vietnamese. Do not miss your precious time in a place as well.

Abandoned hollow place... It was designed as a super modern, super cool museum but now it looks terrible. Exposition is not interactive, not attractive, not interesting at all. One level is entirely closed. A half of lamps doesn't work. Poorly English translation. There is only one plus: it's free.

not allowed to take camera inside. the collections are no so many. you can find some vase from China and Japan. not all instruction are both in Vietnamese and English. must be improved, then it will meet the standard of capital.

Disappointing. The building is really nice and the exhibition is for free, but when inside you find yourself in empty and dark rooms with several items with no background explanation.

It's a disappoint. This place is not used for anything. Waste time and money

Possibly the worst museum I've been to. Mostly pots or vases in half lit or even completely unlit displays. Wife got shouted at for using a toilet!? Plus it's miles from the old quarter with nothing near it. Nice building I guess but avoid, Hanoi has so many better things to do.
