(360+ reviews on the web)
Military Museum
A prominent 19th-century landmark, Hanoi Flag Tower stands as the most recognizable feature of the city's World Heritage Site, the Hanoi Citadel. King Gia oversaw the building of this tower between 1805 and 1812. It is an iconic attraction because it is one of the only structures in the city that wasn't destroyed in the late 19th-century French invasion. The flag at the top of this attraction stands at 41 m (134 ft) high. When you visit the site, you can climb stairs to the top of the tower and take in views of the city. • The tower is visible from afar, therefore a landmark in the city. It can be accessed from the grounds of the military museum, however, only the two terraces at the foot of the tower are accessible, the tower itself can not be climbed.

  • Đáng xem
  • One of most beautiful places in Hanoi, located in the old Thang Long citadel
  • Hard to miss in the area here.
  • Remnants of the southern wall of the old Hanoi Citadel. Great photo opportunity here.
  • You have to claim to the tower to see the city :). Nice view.
