  • This is not a botanical garden. It is a badly maintained park - no flowers, broken swings, closed planthouses, filthy toilets. A caged peacock and some caged monkeys in dirty surroundings with absolut...  more »
  • It is a large park situated on the back side of the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum,. Lotus-shaped fountain in one corner of the Park, lit up at night is beautiful. If I went during the day was no big deal.

  • The price to get in is tiny. By it offers quite an escape from the hum-drum of the city. There isn’t much of a botanical garden thing going on - not a lot of landscaping either. There are some small c...  more »

  • This is not a Botanical Garden at all! At best its an Arboretum, but not a single plant has a description. Only trees and grass. The animals are kept in horrifyingly small and disgusting cages. Only 2000 dong, but totally not worth the visit!
  • If you run out of places to go in Hanoi and have some time to kill, it is a nice little park to walk around and chill out. The orchid nursery is non-existent though there are signs and an apparent space for it. The pond is murky green, and there are mostly pigeons and some ducks, with some sparrows. Good backdrops for portraits, but hardly warrants the term botanical garden.
  • I went here twice :) it's a really nice place to relax from the rest of hanoi. Entry tickets are about 2k and I don't know where to park your scooter. The animals in the cages could have had a bit more space...
  • One of the best bird watching site in Hanoi city. There are various bird spices some of them on the high canopy of tall trees, on the ground, on the pond or on the branches . And this is one of very rare place which has peaceful and quiet environment in Hanoi city.
  • Nothing really to look at, it was boring and quite drab. Disappointed to see animals such as monkeys locked in cages within the botanical garden itself!
