  • Really good atmosphere, cheap price ticket, good place to go camping with friends. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway from Hanoi!
  • Around 1 hours drive in west direction from Hanoi City center, you will find the good walking places in forest. Usually drive to the middle level of Resort area around 600 meter height and start to trekking. though it is a paved road, it will be nice to walk early in the morning since many local peoples are driving by motor bikes which produce some pollution in mountain. But still good to have such a mountain in Hanoi out of most flat area. You can enjoy waking of 12 km's one way upto 1286 meter top or reduce distances starting middle point still enjoying 6.5 km's one way. Two top post, one is Pagoda including Hi Chi Min temple while the other post is general temple celebrating old kings, buddha and Confucious.
  • Great place for camping, fresh air and nice place to visit
  • Closest fresh air to Hanoi. A jungle clad mountain outcrop. A long time refuge from summer heat for people of Hanoi province. An almost traffic free road winds you to the top carpark. From there, take the one hour "loop trail" for view of huge trees and French era political prison. Jungle generally silent. But if patient, you might spot some of Vietnam's last wild birds. Park management still governmentally dull. But maybe that is part of charm? Cuc Phuong is a better place to walk.
