  • very beautiful place. We still decided to climb the mountain. A tip for those who don't want to climb 10 km up: climb straight up on a bike. Did not like the toilet-just holes in the ground. Bavi is famous for its dairy products, so at the entrance in Hanoi, there are small shops where you can buy products of Bavi-milk chocolate, caramel, yoghurt etc.

  • Closest fresh air to Hanoi. A jungle clad mountain outcrop. A long time refuge from summer heat for people of Hanoi province. An almost traffic free road winds you to the top carpark. From there, take the one hour "loop trail" for view of huge trees and French era political prison. Jungle generally silent. But if patient, you might spot some of Vietnam's last wild birds. Park management still governmentally dull. But maybe that is part of charm? Cuc Phuong is a better place to walk.
  • Nice views but there're not many activities you can do.
  • actually we vent there on 10th feb 2013, first day of TET holiday. it was so silent and very nice. we were enjoy a lot..
