  • The museum itself is not very interesting, though a very good start to discover real Hanoi street life. Its very cool to walk from here to the stadium and further to the Literature temple (small stree...  more »
  • FYI. This is closed on Monday and Friday. There is a bunch of wreckage from B52 bombers as well as some SAM missile launchers. Worth a quick visit particularly if you are interested in war memorabilia...  more »
  • Like all the war presentations hugely biased, but nevertheless still interesting, a huge wrecked B52, plus SAM's (aren't they large), and a MIG, worthy a quick look around  more »

  • Really cool free museum. Motorbike parking out front was 5k. The place was almost empty. Two other tourists and a few locals exercising. Restroom was in a separate building to your left as you exit from the inside section of the museum.
  • It's a free museum with the ruins of the war quite well preserved. The plane parts and war equipments are interesting to look at. The weaponry is available for display as well
  • Small, free museum spread out over a building (no airconditioning) with information panels and artifacts like weapons, and an outside area with the wreckage of a B52 bomber that was shot down over Hanoi as well as two surface to air missiles, some anti-aircraft guns, flak and a fighter jet. Informative and worth seeing. A visit will take you somewhere between 30-45 minutes. I came right after the lunch break and me and another tourist were the only ones here. Observe the lunch break when planning a visit; they are closed during lunch. They museum has restrooms but they are not in te exhibit building itself but somewhat hidden; when you walk out of the building, they are in the building to your left side. You will have to walk close to see the signs.
  • Really cool place. Unfortunately when we went it was closed, but you could still see all the planes and anti aircraft guns. Hope to go back when its open!
  • Some interesting and reasonably well preserved artefacts. Seeing the hulking scale of a mangled B-52 Stratofortress [assumedly assembled from multiple downed aircraft] is pretty impressive. Inside, a succinct recent history of conflict in Vietnam. Free entrance.
