4.1/5 based on 6,000+ reviews on the web
Cruise among the conical peaks and karst pillars of Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site-honored scenic seascape of various limestone landforms modeled into natural arches and towers by coastal erosion. This site features nearly 1,600 mostly uninhabited islands and islets. Legend has it that this is the place from which a mountain dragon plunged into the sea, crushing the land with his powerful tale and leaving behind a scatter of islets. Go kayaking, explore caves, visit a fishing village, or spend the night in an island bungalow. The extreme popularity of the bay among locals and tourists alike has taken a toll on the natural environment-- sometimes the water is so polluted that it is not suitable for swimming or snorkeling. Plan your visit to Halong Bay and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Halong Bay travel itinerary maker.

  • I recommend it to people who enjoy nature. Beautiful view. We make a trip across the Bay in canoe to finish in a small beach where we saw a stunning sunset.

  • A place to replenish your energy, relax, meditate, anyway, filling the heart of peacefulness in the encounter with nature and you as a part of it and nothing else. Definitely amazing magic that surrounds this place. There you realized account of the greatness of the universe, the beauty of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the urban centres and the rush of everyday life, a place to contemplate and silence. A place to forget the clock and routine.
