Halong Bay, Halong Bay

4.2
Cruise among the conical peaks and karst pillars of Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site-honored scenic seascape of various limestone landforms modeled into natural arches and towers by coastal erosion. This site features nearly 1,600 mostly uninhabited islands and islets. Legend has it that this is the place from which a mountain dragon plunged into the sea, crushing the land with his powerful tale and leaving behind a scatter of islets. Go kayaking, explore caves, visit a fishing village, or spend the night in an island bungalow. The extreme popularity of the bay among locals and tourists alike has taken a toll on the natural environment-- sometimes the water is so polluted that it is not suitable for swimming or snorkeling. We chose the stay with one night on HALONG BAY and were 3 passengers. We were truly delighted by l ' home, l ' organization, meal, ' accompanied by a very nice guide, the point at the end with the organizers. The views were breathtaking, and exceptional tranquility, away from the hordes of tourists. A haven of peace. I advise to 200% and I n ' would not hesitate to do so again if j ' have l ' opportunity stay we will long keep in memory

We had booked a 3 day-2 night trip, with Auco Cruises. And we were certainly not disappointed. The boat and the staff is top notch. And Halong Bay are impressive. It is so indescribably beautiful. So different. The floating islands has to be experienced. For a Dane, it is hard to imagine how these people are frugal. Halong Bay is one of the world's 7 Wonders and it is easy to understand. It must be experienced. So many beautiful rock formations, in most places, clean water, and nice and warm. Wonderful opportunities for kayaking trips. We had the first 2 days, although sunshine and rain when we were back to the port. Halong Bay is clearly the most beautifully in the sunshine.
