You can see the rooms of his 3 wives, his office, dining rooms. Fr. Chi Duke made a fortune through culture and the opium trade. In 1913, he made an alliance with the French and built his "Palace" between 1919 and 1928. He was even appointed General of the French army. The Vietnamese people are revolting against the french, he was forced to adopt neutrality. And his son will support Ho Chi Minh in 1944.
