Red Beach, Da Nang

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 50+ reviews on the web
Considered a classic example of a Vietnamese beach Red Beach provides a calming experience. Located in the outskirts of the city, come here to escape the hustle and bustle of the more tourist beach. Formerly inhabited by U.S Marines, it now operates as a beach alone and is completely private for this reason. Get active on the strip of sand or take a dip in the water. Come prepared with towels or possibly sun loungers as there aren’t on site. There are restaurants and cafes nearby after your day at the beach. • from danang city it is about 3 km. you need to cross the Han River to get there. it is a long stretch of about 2km of clean white sand. alot of bars along the beach front. water not very clean.
  • The picturesque Bay and the beach is the site of an afternoon and evening of relaxation of Vietnamese (we were not tourists). Closer to Danang-several beach bars and type of promenade leading from the city until The Nature Villas & Spa. Unfortunately, the beach pretty trashed.

  • Takes a long time to get there from downtown DaNang by motor bike or taxi. Not very clean beach. It is the Harbor water, not ocean. Surrounding housing of locals very low end poor area.
