Linh Ung Pagoda, Da Nang
(4.5/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Situated in the Son Tra peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda is the largest pagoda in the coastal city. Built in 2010, the pagoda boasts a unique marriage of modern and traditional Vietnamese architecture. Notice the white Buddha sculptures that illustrate various myths and stories in Buddhism. The highlight is the 67 metre high statue of the Goddess of Mercy (bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara) where it’s possible to go inside to view more Buddhist sculpture. Feel free to ask the monks about the history of the pagoda for a meaningful insight. For Linh Ung Pagoda and beyond, use our Da Nang holiday planner to get the most from your Da Nang vacation.

  • The temple is located right in the location of son TRA peninsula, an area of wide, beautiful landscape. Here hold at Sun drizzle but dignified, poetic landscape. Like the most is Her high Buddha 67m, listen to the Professor recounts the difficult at this temple built for the construction of the statue, are built to go rebuild several times, at first the statue facing the sea but not built into any build up spilled should redirect to rotate the direction of the city is built , as a miracle. Don't know how real but since the statue of Mother Buddha bless the city here at least met rain storms, natural disasters. A di da Buddha!

  • The photos say it all. The view from Son Tra is awesome. Definitely worth the trip. You will like the view and the scenery around.
  • Weather permitting, Da Nang City, the view is gorgeous but not enough space to stay for more than 30 minutes. Lady by taking pictures for framing with pour hold not easy than you think
