Linh Ung Pagoda, Da Nang

(4.5/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Situated in the Son Tra peninsula, Linh Ung Pagoda is the largest pagoda in the coastal city. Built in 2010, the pagoda boasts a unique marriage of modern and traditional Vietnamese architecture. Notice the white Buddha sculptures that illustrate various myths and stories in Buddhism. The highlight is the 67 metre high statue of the Goddess of Mercy (bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara) where it’s possible to go inside to view more Buddhist sculpture. Feel free to ask the monks about the history of the pagoda for a meaningful insight. For Linh Ung Pagoda and beyond, use our Da Nang holiday planner to get the most from your Da Nang vacation.

  • The temple is located on a high point of the peninsula, overlooking the sea and the city of Da Nang so very wonderful scenery. She is tall, Buddha icons can be seen from anywhere of the Da Nang City (on the plane). Location not only conform to the cult ceremony but also to or visiting.
