  • The market is good. There is a bit of a smell when you first walk in and on the first flood but they’re selling local produce so you shouldn’t really expect anything less. The sellers are pretty pushy...  more »

  • In Danang this market is placed in the centre of the city. When I give stars I see the place, context, country and overall. You may not find cheaper and better clothes, but it is a good market. On the ground floor you will find in section souvenirs, then food stall with dry meat, dry sea food then amazing range of food items which you might not have seen before. Then the biscuits, pickles (both veg and non-veg) sea food pickles are also available. You can find the fruits the meat and fish. If you are hungry you have some shops to eat also. On the first floor you will find clothes, shoes, bags and most importantly you cam order clothes and foot ware according to your need. They will design and make it there itself.
  • A market full of tourists. The shops are selling almost the same thing, many made in China stuffs as well. Can be interesting for people watching but the salesperson can be quite pushy. So basically you cant just come and look around without being asked to buy something. Many shops owners will take a nap in the afternoon. Con market is better and more interesting.
  • A lot of fabrics for traditional fabrics and garment s, expect to haggle on price. A lot of local foodstuffs and good wetmarket. A lot of fake stuff too
  • Han Market is pretty close to the river, where you can see the Dragon Bridge. It is a market place that sells food on the first floor and clothing on the second floor. Most vendors sell the same thing and some can be pushy. It's an interesting place to stop by briefly, but I wouldn't spend too much time there. It's mostly a tourist trap and you'd be better off spending time in other areas of Da Nang
  • Interesting to see a local market - the arrangement of shops, what they sell, and how they customise the traditional dresses right at the back of the shops. But don't expect too much variety in the shops. Worth a visit.

Where to stay in Da Nang

Da Nang contains surprisingly abundant hotel options, despite its relatively low-key tourism. The rainiest season lasts from September to December, while the drier spring sees more travelers; still, you generally don't need to book a room very far in advance. A broad range of hostels for backpackers on budgets clusters near the beach and on the west side of the Han River. Spectacular resorts line the oceanfront, many offering private beach access, spa packages, water sports, and diving.
