Bridge Landmark
Crossing the Han River, Dragon Bridge represents a 666 m (2,185 ft) long symbol of the country's revival and prosperity. Opened in 2013, the award-winning bridge was designed by US-based engineers and features a dragon's head shooting fire plumes and hissing clouds of vapor from its mouth, a spectacular pyrotechnic show. Observe the lightshow created by thousands of LEDs, which illuminate the bridge in a colorful spectrum and make the river dazzle beneath it. Where to stay in Da Nang

Da Nang contains surprisingly abundant hotel options, despite its relatively low-key tourism. The rainiest season lasts from September to December, while the drier spring sees more travelers; still, you generally don't need to book a room very far in advance. A broad range of hostels for backpackers on budgets clusters near the beach and on the west side of the Han River. Spectacular resorts line the oceanfront, many offering private beach access, spa packages, water sports, and diving.
